New report on EMRs available

Full Spectrum Software (FSS; Southborough, Massachusetts) has issued its fourth Software Technology Report for medical device makers. This report looks at the current market conditions, what the new definition of innovation is and what impact the development of electronic medical records (EMRs) will have from a software product development standpoint specifically for the medical device industry.

"The hospital market is suffering economically and medical device makers need a strategy to make their products more attractive to hospital buyers," FSS said. "Many medical device makers can employ some software development strategies to accomplish this."
