HONG KONG – South Korea's Samsung Bioepis Co. Ltd. will get $100 million in up-front payments in a commercialization deal for two of its biosimilar candidates with U.S. company Biogen Inc. Under the deal, Samsung Bioepis will also be eligible for up to $270 million in milestone and option payments, as well as a share of sales revenue.

The 'Sistem Klasifikasi Risiko Alat Kesehatan' system, known by the acronym Siklara, takes its cues from the ASEAN Medical Device Directive (AMDD).

Lucence collaborates with Singapore hospital to develop liver surgery visualization tool

HONG KONG – Singapore's Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Lucence Diagnostics Pte. Ltd. have teamed up to develop a next-generation decision support tool for liver cancer patients. The visualization tool, known as Liver3D, was designed to reduce the risks associated with liver cancer surgery. It does so by developing machine learning models based on radiology images of liver cancer patients for clinical decision support.

HONG KONG – Insilico Medicine Hong Kong Ltd. has inked a two-program drug discovery collaboration agreement with Jiangsu Chia Tai Fenghai Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. (CTFH), of Jiangsu, China. The deal will focus on drug discovery and development for previously undruggable oncology targets through Insilico's artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled platform.
