Dewpoint Therapeutics Inc. has described TAR DNA-binding protein 43 (TARDBP; TDP-43) modulators reported to be useful for the treatment of traumatic brain injury, frontotemporal dementia and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
The disclosure of a new candidate by Dewpoint Therapeutics Inc. was the latest in the percolating beta-catenin/Wnt space, where a handful of firms have been making progress.
Dewpoint Therapeutics Inc. has nominated a second development candidate, DPTX-3496. The oral, small-molecule condensate modulator targets β-catenin to address Wnt-driven colorectal cancer, triple-negative breast cancer and non-small-cell lung cancer. IND-enabling studies have commenced, with an IND filing planned in the second half of this year.

Dewpoint will also receive tiered royalties on net sales.
