Medical devices and drugs are now among the potential battlegrounds if a trade war should erupt between China and the U.S. In the latest saber rattling, the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Tuesday proposed adding a 25 percent duty on about 1,300 products from China in retaliation for China's technology transfer, intellectual property and innovation policies that discriminate against U.S. commerce.
