Royal Phillips NV is set to acquire Spectranetics Corp. for €1.9 billion ($2.2 billion). The proposed acquisition is the latest in a string of efforts the Amsterdam, the Netherlands-based company has made to strengthen its position in health care. The deal is set to close in 3Q17.
